Why flower beds IN Washington Street?

Some have commented that it’s foolish and a waste of taxpayer dollars, others that it’s an impediment to traffic. The new vegetation is no doubt attractive, but is also a never-ending maintenance item. What do you think of the new flower beds?

  1. Maybe after the planting is finished the crew can go clean up the old Jett school property particularly the old Isle of Capri training site just down from the state WELCOME center…chw

  2. I’m hoping they’ll get to 709 – 713 Clay Street next. After a year-and-a-half of living next door to a catastrophe that could be another catastrophe at any time, I’m ready for a new city administration that cares more about the citizens than about fattening their own wallets.
